With some 25 years in the energy investment-banking business, Stephen M. (Steve) Trauber currently serves as vice chairman and global head of energy investment banking for Citigroup Inc. Prior to joining Citi, he led more than $160 billion of transactions in his seven years with UBS AG and began his career with The First Boston Corp. and Morgan Stanley. In his career, Trauber has seen numerous clients grow, such as Devon Energy Corp., for which he arranged financing in its earliest days, from less than $100 million in market capitalization to more than $40 billion today. He received his B.A. in economics and managerial studies from Rice University. Trauber was an Austin Scholar and earned his MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
