Steve Guidry
Vice President of Business Development, Marathon Oil
Steve Guidry’s work history includes numerous executive management positions — president of Marathon Oil Libya Limited, where he served as chairman of the Marathon, ConocoPhillips and Hess partnership in the Waha concessions; regional vice president for Marathon’s North American Production Operations (NAPO); and leader of Marathon’s Central Africa Business Unit overseeing project expansions and operations in Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Angola. Guidry received his Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Petroleum Institute, and he also served on the board of directors for the Corporate Council on Africa and the Independent Petroleum Association of America.
